The ROHLIG SUUS Logistics branch in Konstantynów Łódzki received the international IFS Logistics certificate, which confirms high standards in the field of food storage and transport.

The IFS Logistics standard applies to companies operating in the logistics sector, including those responsible for the transportation and storage of food. It verifies that the company complies with international standards and regulations for storing and handling materials used in food production, including packaging and non-food products.

– The IFS certificate confirms the high-quality services we provide to food producers. Safety is unquestionably a top priority for the entire industry and a key commitment to the end customer. Logistics operators face stringent requirements for product storage and transportation. This certification affirms that the standards and infrastructure of our Konstantynów Łódzki branch meet the highest levels of security and process transparency, – says Jakub Mikołajczyk, Director of the Łódź branch at ROHLIG SUUS Logistics.

Implementing the IFS Logistics standard requires adopting a range of practices, particularly in storage and transportation. Essential measures include monitoring systems in food warehouses, hygiene procedures across facilities, and comprehensive employee training in IFS and HACCP standards. Certified companies must also conduct regular verification audits to ensure the logistics system is managed effectively and remains compliant with the standard.
