We have been building and managing supply chains for over 35 years. We carry out complex, tailor-made projects as well as standard transports. We combine years of experience, intuition, and the latest technologies. We are passionate about business and logistics, and thanks to our competencies in various industries and markets, we are able to propose effective and creative solutions.

Our milestones

We began our business as Röhlig Poland Sp. z o.o. and opened our first office in Poland. The company was established as a joint venture of several enterprises, including Rohlig Continental, Elektrim SA, and LOT SA.

1989

We contribute to the development of a new Polish reality, delivering goods for significant projects such as the construction of the new Okęcie airport, the A4 motorway, and Petrochemia Płock.

1990

Tadeusz Chmielewski becomes the General Manager. The company now has 32 employees.

1994

We expand our international full-truck and groupage road transport services. Our groupage line system, connecting Poland with various European countries, now boasts over 300 connections per week!

1995

Tadeusz Chmielewski acquires 25% of the company's shares, becoming the sole minority shareholder in the company managed by Röhlig.

2000

Turnover exceeds PLN 100 million, and our workforce exceeds 100 employees. We are honored to receive the Business Gazelle title for the 6th consecutive year.

 

2002

We rank in the top 4 of the IATA ranking.

2004

As a result of a management buyout, Tadeusz Chmielewski acquires 100% of shares in Röhlig Poland. The company becomes financially independent from the Röhlig & Co. group.

2006

We are launching a railway service from the Far East.

2008

We are undergoing rebranding. We become Rohlig Suus Logistics SA. The word "Suus" means "one's own" in Latin, emphasizing the new character of the brand.

2009

The company starts building a domestic distribution system for domestic shipments, ensuring delivery within 24 hours.

2010

For the first time, our turnover exceeds PLN 500 million, placing us among the top 3 comprehensive logistics operators in Poland.

2013

We are expanding our portfolio with a new service: logistics support for the e-commerce channel in domestic distribution.

2014

Piotr Iwo Chmielewski joins the company after five years of work in the strategic consulting market. We are establishing ourselves as a strategic partner of the German logistics operator Röhlig in the CEE region, expanding our international operations, and opening branches beyond our borders

2017

We are commencing operations in the Czech Republic and Hungary. 

2018

We are opening a branch in Slovenia.

2019

For the first time, our turnover exceeds PLN 1 billion. In the same year, we began operations in Slovakia and Romania, launched the PL-CZ-SK-HU groupage line, inaugurated the largest warehouse in our history (48.5 thousand sqm, located in Sokołów near Warsaw), and introduced the first module of the new tool for customers - SUUS Portal.

2020

We currently manage over 300,000 m2 of warehouse space, making us the largest Polish logistics operator and one of the largest comprehensive logistics operators in the region. Our revenues reach PLN 2 billion, and we inaugurate our first foreign warehouse

2022

We acquire Expert Transport, a company specializing in last-mile deliveries, and the Czech logistics operator Joppa. Additionally, we establish a warehouse in Slovakia and expand our warehouse in Brno. Furthermore, we inaugurate a branch in Kazakhstan

2023

Quality

Continuous improvement is one of our core values, extending to our services as we continually seek better and more effective solutions for our clients. To ensure quality and environmental responsibility, we have implemented an Integrated Management System compliant with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards. Moreover, we hold certifications including WSK, HACCP, AEO, ISO 27001, IFS, and NCAGE.
