SUUS expands warehousing services for Josera to include the B2C channel. Volume of handled goods increased by 50%

Pet food manufacturer Josera is expanding its cooperation with Rohlig SUUS Logistics to its largest scale to date – the total volume of handled goods has increased by 50%. The operator will launch warehouse services for the B2C sales channel, including storage and order picking. At the same time, it has expanded operations in the B2B channel, where – in addition to contract logistics – it also provides distribution across Central and South-Eastern Europe and the Balkans. The companies plan further development of their cooperation.

Efficient logistics for the pet food industry

A key element of the operations is the SUUS warehouse in Poznań, which serves as an international distribution hub for Josera pet food. As part of contract logistics, the operator provides, among others, product storage with dedicated zones separating strong-smelling goods from absorbent products, labeling selected batches in accordance with local market requirements, and order picking with consideration of expiry dates. It is also responsible for preparing goods for distribution in line with the requirements of individual sales channels – B2B and now also B2C. Operations are carried out in accordance with standards for food products, including HACCP certification for pet food. Across the entire supply chain, Josera focuses on the end customer, ensuring high-quality, comprehensive service supported by Rohlig SUUS Logistics solutions.

The operator also provides road transport – both full truckload and less-than-truckload. It handles collections from Josera’s production plants in Germany and Poland, as well as B2B distribution to countries in Central and South-Eastern Europe, including Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Croatia, Bulgaria and Hungary, as well as to France. Deliveries are carried out both for large retail chains and specialist pet stores.
