Rohlig SUUS Logistics has launched a subsidiary in Ukraine, headquartered in Kyiv, strengthening its position in Central Eastern Europe. The operator has many years of experience in servicing the Ukrainian market and recognizes the growing economic significance of the country. At the new location, it offers a broad range of logistics services, including road, rail, air, and sea transport, intermodal solutions, and customs clearance.
Piotr Iwo Chmielewski, CEO of Rohlig SUUS Logistics, says: "The subsidiary in Ukraine is a strategic investment in our international expansion. By entering another market, we continue our geographical diversification approach while consistently building our position as a leading logistics operator in the CEECA region – Central Eastern Europe and Central Asia. We have been providing logistics operations in this country for years, so opening a local subsidiary is another step in the development of our business." He adds: "In light of the changing global situation and the great potential for rebuilding the devastated economy, we are seeing increasing interest in this market — from investors in Poland, as well as across Western Europe, Asia, and the United States."
Rohlig SUUS Logistics has extensive experience in supporting customers in expanding their operations in Ukraine — e.g., by offering regular groupage road transport connections from its warehouse in Rzeszów and by providing rail and intermodal transport. The company has also built a team of specialists dedicated to serving this market, including professionals operating directly in Ukraine.
Andrzej Kozłowski, Member of the Management Board of Rohlig SUUS Logistics, responsible for international expansion in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, emphasizes: "We believe that hostilities will soon be halted and that accelerated economic activity in Ukraine will create new opportunities for the logistics sector. Thus we want to be One Step Ahead—ready with proven solutions on this market. Our goal is to support customers in growing their business in Ukraine by providing end-to-end services."
In Ukraine, Rohlig SUUS Logistics provides a wide range of services: international and domestic road transport (both full truckload and less than truckload), rail, air, and sea freight, intermodal solutions, and customs clearance.
Ukraine is the eighth country in which Rohlig SUUS Logistics operates. In addition to its home market in Poland, the company is also present in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Romania, Hungary, and Kazakhstan. In total, SUUS has over 40 branches and employs more than 2,500 people.
