Fire at the import cargo terminal at Dhaka airport (DAC)

On October 18th, a fire broke out at the cargo terminal of Dhaka international airport (DAC), the capital of Bangladesh, affecting the section handling import freight. This incident is causing delays in air transport to and from Bangladesh due to a significant reduction in both cargo and passenger flight operations. As a result, an increase in freight rates can be expected.
