By sea and air from LATAM - it is time for Latin America
2023-03-31
Latin America - an alternative to Asia? At Rohlig Suus Logistics, we see that the eyes of global business are increasingly turning to LATAM. We offer sea and air transport to and from Mexico, Colombia, Brazil and Chile.
This region presents numerous opportunities for the Polish economy. The main trade goods on the Poland-LATAM route include road vehicles, automotive parts, steel, furniture, coffee, wine, and various food products.
New Direction – New Opportunities and Challenges
Mexico is the fastest-growing destination for trade with Poland. In recent years, air freight volumes have risen from over 5,000 tons in 2020 to more than 6,000 tons in 2022, while sea freight has increased from 11,000 TEU to 14,900 TEU during the same period. In this area, we offer our clients attractive pricing and an extended free collection period of up to 21 days for both full and empty containers at the port—well above the market average of 10 days. This extended period is particularly beneficial to recipients, given the bureaucracy typical in many LATAM countries. We offer similar solutions in Colombia, among other countries.
Vine Business
The wine market in Latin America is growing rapidly, particularly in countries like Chile, where the volume of imported goods increases annually. As an experienced logistics operator, we understand the importance of comprehensive service throughout the entire supply chain. This goes beyond simply organizing transport from point A to point B and extends to the complete implementation of the project, including clearance and customs warehousing. At ROHLIG SUUS Logistics, we support clients in the alcohol industry across the full spectrum of logistics services, utilizing our own customs agencies. This allows us to transport goods more quickly and efficiently, including shipments from Chile.
