Poland's largest logistics operator has published its fourth sustainability report. The scope of the publication is based on a double materiality study conducted by the company, involving all stakeholders. The company is committed to transparency, which is why it has voluntarily published its reports for years.

'We live in times of great economic, social and regulatory uncertainty. I am glad that, in such a challenging environment, ROHLIG SUUS Logistics has continued to grow sustainably. Last year, we initiated a new business strategy combining dynamic growth and efficiency with responsibility. One of its foundations is the integration of the ESG approach into all areas of our business. Climate projects, the mental health of our employees and transparent management have become standard practice for us. This is particularly important to me in my first year as CEO.' Piotr Iwo Chmielewski, President of the Management Board at ROHLIG SUUS Logistics, says:

For the second time, the company's report is based on the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), providing a detailed description of the organisation's management approach and the actions taken for the benefit of employees, the community, customers and the environment.

In the 2024 financial year, Rohlig SUUS Logistics:

  • provided stable employment to over 2,500 people
  • retained the title of Best Employer in the TSL industry, awarded by Rzeczpospolita, for another year
  • obtained a bronze medal from EcoVadis with a score of 66 points
  • 65% of the electricity used by the company came from renewable energy sources

'We focus on real actions that deliver social, environmental and economic benefits. Taking a practical approach increases an organisation's commitment to and motivation for implementing projects. One of our core values is continuous improvement, and each year we broaden the scope and enhance the quality of the data presented in the report. We believe that this approach fosters mutual trust and encourages collaboration on sustainability initiatives," says Magdalena Lejman, Strategy and Communications Director at Rohlig SUUS Logistics.
