The United States has recently been making dynamic changes to its customs policy. How does this affect EU importers operating in the US market? 

Rohlig SUUS Logistics offers the Customs Control Tower service, providing a one-stop shop for comprehensive customs across the globe – both at origin and destination countries. The solution removes the need for clients to manage customs procedures separately in each country, enhancing business efficiency in international trade.

Rohlig SUUS Logistics, the largest Polish logistics operator, has opened a second customs warehouse in Szczecin. The investment increases SUUS' capabilities in handling exported and imported goods for companies operating on the Polish market as well as in Scandinavia or Western Europe. The bonded warehouse includes the possibility of postponing the payment of duties and taxes until the products are placed on the market.

As part of the Omnibus Directive, the European Commission plans to simplify the CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism). What changes are expected?

Maritime freight plays a key role in global trade. According to the IMO (International Maritime Organization), about 80-90% of global trade is carried out by this service. Maritime shipping not only connects markets from different continents but also plays an important geopolitical role. This is confirmed by the events of the last 2-3 years. Climatic factors such as the drought limiting the capacity of the Panama Canal and attacks by Yemeni militants in the Suez Canal show that the turbulence of the maritime freight market directly affect global business.

The delivery of crane girders from the port of Gdansk to the factory posed a significant logistical challenge. The largest of them measured up to 50 meters in length and weighed 80 tons. To ensure smooth and safe transportation, we opted for an unconventional solution – a specialized barge for oversized cargo transportation. Why?
