Rohlig SUUS Logistics has announced the acquisition of Joppa Logistics, a Czech company specializing in warehousing services and road groupage transport. With this acquisition, SUUS will almost double its market share in the Czech Republic and solidify its position in Central and Eastern Europe. This marks the company's first foreign acquisition and the second in just a few months, following the takeover of the Polish company Expert, which specializes in last-mile deliveries and value-added services. The contract was signed on the 6th June 2023, and the entire transaction is expected to be completed in the following weeks of this year.

Since 2018, Rohlig SUUS Logistics has been expanding its services in the Czech Republic, offering air, sea, and road freight forwarding. In the fall of 2022, the company opened its first warehouse in Brno. Joppa Logistics, on the other hand, is a private Czech company with branches in Prague, Brno, Zlín, Olomouc, and Ostrava. The merger with Joppa Logistics is in line with one of SUUS's strategic goals of strengthening its position in Central and Eastern Europe.
