Non-standard shipments to Scandinavia with ROHLIG SUUS Logistics
ROHLIG SUUS Logistics extended its offering to include a service targeted at customers delivering specific, non-standard shipments to Scandinavia that are neither FTL nor LTL transports.
The operator’s new service involves shipments larger than four pallet places which exceed 3,000 kg of actual weight. Also length per piece is important (over 4m), especially its height as ROHLIG SUUS Logistics has a dedicated fleet for transporting shipments exceeding standard height limits ranging from 2.5 to 3 m.
Apart from short transit time and regular, daily transports from Szczecin to Sweden and Norway, the company also renders comprehensive services on that route, including customs clearance on its own terminals by its own customs agency and the return of original documents.
Marcin Grzelak, Branch Director at ROHLIG SUUS Logistics, stresses: “Shipping such non-standard shipments that are too large for LTL and too small for FTL may be a problem to customers due to high transport costs or the necessity of having the cargo shipped as the so-called partial load.
