Rohlig SUUS Logistics has launched a virtual procurement platform designed to streamline the entire procurement process, enhance efficiency, and improve communication with SUUS's business partners in the delivery of products and services. Additionally, the tool will increase transparency and enable efficient supplier verification, supporting the largest Polish logistics operator's ongoing efforts in the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) area.

SUUS' procurement platform is an innovative, dedicated solution that supports the procurement process at every stage. It enables the publication of requests for proposals, submission of bids by business partners, and the facilitation of negotiations, including through electronic auctions. The platform also allows for the monitoring, reporting, and analysis of nearly all data related to procurement activities. Both SUUS employees and business partners invited to the tender process have access to the platform, making it an effective communication tool between them.

As part of the transformation of our procurement processes, we are moving away from administrative order handling and advancing to a more strategic approach—managing procurement categories based on market complexity and purchase criticality. The platform allows us to standardize, simplify, and accelerate the procurement process, which directly impacts our efficiency and cost optimization. Thanks to this new tool, we can significantly enhance the competitiveness and reliability of our supply chain. By increasing transparency in the procurement process, we also strengthen SUUS's credibility as a long-term and reliable business partner," emphasizes Agnieszka Małecka, Procurement & Administration Director at Rohlig SUUS Logistics.

The implementation of the procurement platform is part of SUUS’s efforts in sustainable development, specifically in corporate governance. The tool enhances transparency and allows for efficient verification of the logistics operator’s contractors, ensuring compliance with the ROHLIG SUUS Group’s Code of Conduct for Business Partners, including business ethics and pro-environmental practices. As part of its ESG strategy, SUUS has set a goal to verify all its business partners by 2025.

The procurement platform is available in both Polish and English. To use it, simply register for free at: https://suus.logintrade.net/index.php. The project was developed in collaboration with PROFITIA Management Consultants, who supported Rohlig SUUS Logistics in defining the platform's specifications and guiding the selection and implementation process.

SUUS, aiming to enhance its procurement function, focused on in-depth strategic analysis of categories, supplier market analysis, and the development of procurement competencies. As an advisor specializing in procurement, we collaborated with the SUUS team to develop a new approach to the procurement process, build procurement competencies, and select and implement a procurement platform. Together, we conducted the first procurement procedures following best practices. We continue to support SUUS in developing and implementing additional category strategies. The supplier market has responded positively to the professionalization of the Polish operator’s procurement, which aligns perfectly with the company’s mission of 'One Step Ahead!'" – sums up Monika Osiecka, Director at PROFITIA.
